In the most recent analysis by Thomson Scientific's Essential Science Indicators, Penn State ranks 5th in the world in total number of citations in the area of global warming. Penn State also ranks 5th in the total number of citations per paper.
According to Thomson Scientific's analysis of global warming research over the past decade, the
scientist ranking at #9 is Dr. Eric Post, associate professor of biology, with a total of 417 citations.
